Medical Definition of SUPERIOR VESTIBULAR NUCLEUS
: the one of the four vestibular nuclei on each side of the medulla oblongata that is situated dorsal to the lateral vestibular nucleus at the junction of the floor and lateral wall of the fourth ventricle and that sends ascending fibers to the oculomotor and trochlear nuclei in the cerebrum on the same side of the brain—called also Bekhterev's nucleus
